The first Fleetwood Max gig on the Ferry was absolutely amazing.
I loved the sea-scape video projected above the stage as the intro for "Rhiannon" to start the show.
Brilliant vocals from Sharon! Back-to-back with that was "You Make Loving Fun" with Charlie-D taking the lead vocals.
Stixx, as usual delivered some powerful solos on guitar, and led the band into "Edge Of Seventeen" to end the first set, which was definitely a crowd pleaser with Sharon taking the lead once again on this Stevie Nicks song.
Michael did a great job on keyboards, and was a perfect accompaniment for Charlie-D on "Songbird".
Jonny Moir was powering down the back straight metaphorically with his brilliant driving bass and keeping the band in check with some excellent drumming was Craig Leslie. Check them out in the "Edge Of Seventeen" video.
Amazing performance guys for the first set.
The second set took things up a notch and featured "Seven Wonders" to start, and other great songs including "The Chain", "Don't Stop" to name but a few, and closing with "Go Your Own Way".
It was a brilliant, foot-stomping gig enjoyed by the audience and band alike, and was well attended for a Thursday night.
Congratulations guys, and thanks for putting on a brilliant performance!
